Ryan Bursik is the Director of Utilization Review at Modern Recovery. By collaboration with clinical staff and knowledge of payor guidelines and standards, Utilization Review is able to articulate medical necessity for treatment and streamline the authorization process from admission to discharge. Ryan has worked on the provider side in the behavioral healthcare industry for over 8 years and has developed a passion for patient advocation. In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his dog, exercising and traveling to new places.
