Austin Parrow

Austin Parrow is a case manager with Modern Recovery Services. Born and raised in Arizona, Austin brings a wide variety of experiences. Beginning his career as a surgical nurse, he then worked on the East Coast as a teacher, returning to healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic to work primarily with Phoenix’s HIV and homeless populations. Prior to joining the Modern Recovery Services team, Austin employed his skills at an inpatient behavioral health hospital, where he worked in many different positions and gained experience conducting groups and providing quality patient care.

Struggling with mental health issues his entire life, Austin now views himself as a mental health warrior, proud to advocate mental health awareness. He has seen firsthand the value of mental health maintenance and recovery when individuals give themselves permission to begin healing. Here’s his message to you: “Take it one step at a time and understand we do not fail; we fall, and what happens when we fall? We get back up and continue the journey. I look forward to supporting you in your recovery journey!”

When Austin is not engaging with clients, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling around Arizona, exploring all the state has to offer.
