Austin Parrow

Austin Parrow is a Case Manager with Modern Recovery Services. Austin was born and raised in Arizona. Austin brings a wide variety of experiences with him, beginning his career working as a surgical nurse and later working as a teacher on the east coast to return to healthcare working primarily with Phoenix’s HIV and Homeless population during the Covid-19 pandemic. Prior to joining the team at Modern Recovery Services Austin took all his skills to an inpatient behavioral health hospital where he worked in many different positions and gained experience conducting groups and providing quality patient care to each patient that entered.

Austin has struggled with mental health issues his entire life. Today he is a proud advocate for mental health awareness and views himself as a mental health warrior. When Austin is not engaging with clients he enjoys traveling around Arizona and exploring all Arizona has to offer and spending time with family and friends.

Austin has seen firsthand what mental health maintenance and recovery can do when individuals give themselves permission to begin the healing journey, here’s his message to you: “Take it one step at a time and understand we do not fail; we fall and what happens when we fall? We get back up and continue the journey. I look forward to supporting you in your recovery journey!”
