Kathy Bustamante

Kathy Bustamante is the PHP therapist at the Tempe location, specializing in mental healthcare for adolescents. Her work focuses on addressing a range of mental health concerns, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, substance use, behavioral issues, and emotional dysregulation.  Kathy provides weekly individual and family therapy sessions and daily process groups to all clients attending the PHP program. She closely monitors client progress, makes necessary adjustments to treatment plans, and is dedicated to helping each client get the most out of their treatment.

Kathy has extensive experience working in residential treatment centers with a wide diversity of populations. She is skilled in supporting minors who exhibit aggression and challenging behaviors. Her practice is deeply rooted in trauma-informed care, and she is committed to improving the lives of those she serves.

Beyond her professional life, Kathy is passionate about helping minors find purpose and happiness. She enjoys spending time with her puppy and loves animals. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, swimming, and dancing.
